Community and contest rules

Community

• You appear under a nickname. Nobody will see the e-mail or name from your account.
• Only the fishery is stored with a catch, if you choose it. The exact location is never shared and all metadata including GPS is removed from photos before saving.
• You can hide the fishery from others: show only the area, or no location at all. You can also delay publishing (from half a day to a week) so the whole fishery doesn't learn about your spot right away. The catch counts in contests even with the fishery hidden.
• If you block someone, you won't see their posts and comments, you won't get notifications from them and they can't comment on your posts.
• If a moderator hides or deletes your post or comment, you get a notification with the reason.
• Be polite. Insults, threats, spam, advertising and illegal content are deleted and the author may be banned from posting.
• Don't share catches that break the fishing rules (undersized fish, during the closed season, from a fishery with a ban).
• Report inappropriate content. Anything reported by three different people is hidden until a moderator reviews it.
• From the app you can send friends a catch from your diary. Only they can see it; it appears nowhere else. Revírník has no open chat. Anyone who blocks you is no longer your friend.
• Only group members see posts in a group. Private groups are joined by invitation, the admin can remove members.
• Deleting your account also removes everything you wrote and shared in the community.

Contests for Revírník PRO

• Organiser: Karel Novotný, company ID 19258526, operator of the Revírník app.
• Each contest has a set fish species and period. The longest verified catch of that species caught and shared during the contest wins.
• Anyone with a Revírník account can take part. Participation is free and requires no purchase.
• The catch is shared on the public wall with a photo and length and entered into the contest. Each angler can enter up to three catches, the longest counts.
• The photo must show the whole fish with a measure next to it (tape, measuring mat). A moderator verifies the catch and may ask for another photo. Edited or copied photos are disqualified.
• The catch must comply with the fishing rules and the rules of the fishery.
• If lengths are equal, the earlier catch wins.
• The prize is Revírník PRO for a year unless the contest states otherwise. It is added to the winner's account within 14 days after the contest ends and extends any PRO the winner already has. The prize cannot be exchanged for money.
• The winner is published under their nickname on the contest page, on the web and in the app.
• The organiser may cancel the contest or change the rules for serious reasons. Any change will be announced on the contest page.

Group contests

Group admins run contests in groups for their members. The ranking is calculated automatically from catches shared in the group, without verification and without a prize from Revírník.
